It’s time for another edition of Team GMD Q&A. It’s kind of like Vogue’s 73 Questions<\/a>. Instead, it’s in blog form and there are less than 10 questions\u2014because you’re busy and we respect your time.<\/em><\/p>\n

This week we meet Nicole Young, the new GMD Digital Coordinator. A born and raised Londoner (the Ontario kind), Nicole recently made the move west looking for a career change and a new lifestyle. <\/span>Nicole studied at Western University where she gained a BA in Film Studies and Media, Information & Technoculture. She recently gained a graduate certificate in PR & Corporate Communications. <\/span>Read on to learn about Nicole’s hidden talent, her best Halloween costume, and more!<\/span><\/p>\n

In a short paragraph, tell us a little bit about your role at GMD. What do you do on a daily basis:\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

As a Digital Coordinator, it\u2019s my job to keep projects and client communications moving swiftly to ensure deliverables are met on time. From reporting and audits to communicating with multiple teams on a daily basis, no two days are the same which definitely keeps me on my toes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Describe yourself in three words:\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Ambitious, kind, funny.<\/span><\/p>\n

Personal kryptonite:\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Chocolate! I worked in a chocolate shop for 7 years, so I definitely have a major sweet tooth!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hidden talent:\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

I can also speak French, which comes in handy from time to time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hobbies:\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Hiking, reading.<\/span><\/p>\n

A cause you are passionate about:\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

I\u2019m a big advocate for animal adoption. Support your local animal shelters!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The best part of your job:<\/span><\/h3>\n

As a DC, I appreciate the variety of skills I get to use on a daily basis, which keeps things interesting. I love getting to work with such a rockstar group of people and getting to learn from them every day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What superpower would you love to have?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

I\u2019d love to be able to read minds, I think it would be super interesting (and dangerous).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the best Halloween costume you\u2019ve ever worn?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

One year I dressed up as the Black Swan, complete with crown, tutu and terrifying makeup\u2026 it was definitely one of my favourite looks!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Summer or Winter?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Summer for sure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dream holiday destination?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Hawaii\u2026it\u2019s incredibly beautiful and there\u2019s some fantastic hiking spots that I\u2019d love to explore.<\/span><\/p>\n
