Here at Glacier Media, our internal agency ecosystem is made up of 150+ folks.<\/h2>\n

It’s time for another edition of Team GMD Q&A. It’s kind of like Vogue’s 73 Questions<\/a>. Instead, it’s in blog form and there are less than 10 questions\u2014because you’re busy and we respect your time.<\/em><\/p>\n

This week we’re introducing Lloyd Nellas, the newest addition to our talented Social team. <\/span>Another born-and-raised Vancouverite, Lloyd graduated from BCIT\u2019s Broadcast and Digital Journalism program before making the pivot to marketing and social media. Read on to learn more about Lloyd!<\/span><\/p>\n

In a short paragraph, tell us a little bit about your role at GMD. What do you do on a daily basis?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I work with the rest of the Social team on content planning, writing and editing for our social media clients.<\/span><\/p>\n

Describe yourself in three words:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Laid-back, thoughtful, clumsy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Personal kryptonite:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I\u2019m extremely clumsy! Hopefully I\u2019ve hidden it well at the office.<\/span><\/p>\n

Secret talent:<\/strong> <\/span><\/h3>\n

Knowing obscure basketball facts!<\/span><\/p>\n

Such as?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The first game of basketball was played with peach baskets and didn\u2019t have any dribbling.<\/p>\n

Hobbies:<\/strong> <\/span><\/h3>\n

I like to do small video projects. I started in high school and it just kinda stuck.<\/span><\/p>\n

A cause\/causes you’re passionate about:<\/strong> <\/span><\/h3>\n

Addressing gender and racial inequality.<\/span><\/p>\n

The best part of your job:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Being able to create content for a variety of brands and companies. I like that one day I could be writing about fine dining and the next all-natural dog food.<\/span><\/p>\n

What does a typical Saturday look like for you?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Hanging out with friends, watching shows, convincing myself I should go for a run.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you had to give a TED talk, what would it be about?<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/h3>\n

It would probably be between videography on a budget and “Why the Toronto Raptors will win every upcoming NBA season.”<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the best Halloween costume you\u2019ve ever worn?<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/h3>\n

An old-timey detective.<\/span><\/p>\n
