It\u2019s kind of like\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/video.vogue.com\/series\/73-questions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vogue\u2019s 73 Questions<\/a>. Instead, it\u2019s in blog\u00a0form and there are less than 10 questions \u2013\u00a0<em>because you\u2019re busy and we respect your time. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Spring is in full bloom and the GMD team continues to expand! This week we speak to Pablo Narvaez, one of our new Digital Coordinators who brings a quick wit and a wealth of knowledge to the team. While studying in his homeland of Mexico, Pablo obtained a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Information Technology and later, an MBA with a focus on Data Science from the University of Alberta. He&#8217;s also your go-to guy for anything AI and machine-learning-related (but please don&#8217;t ask him about tuna or taxes).<\/p>\n<p>Read on to learn more about Pablo!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your GMD title:<\/strong> Digital Coordinator<\/p>\n<p><strong>In a short paragraph, tell us a little bit about your role at GMD. What do you do on a daily basis:\u2028<\/strong><br \/>\nI am a Digital Coordinator. I like to think that the digital coordinator is a swiss army knife.\u00a0 My job is to ask questions and solve roadblocks. I am the middle person between a powerful organization (GMD) and brilliant people that see the value in GMD&#8217;s expertise and want to put it to use for them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal kryptonite:\u2028<\/strong><br \/>\nCanned tuna. Please don&#8217;t ask; it brings puke memories \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hidden talent:\u2028<\/strong><br \/>\nI can play a few instruments, and I will always say yes to Karaoke. And yes, always saying yes to Karaoke is a hidden talent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hobbies:\u2028<\/strong><br \/>\nVideo games and especially Rocket League.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Describe yourself in 3 words:\u2028<\/strong><br \/>\nNever not playing<\/p>\n<p><strong>A cause\/causes you are passionate about:\u2028<\/strong><br \/>\nADHD awareness<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are you currently listening to?\u2028<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00c3\u0081sgeir &#8211; Leyndarm\u00e1l<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you had to give a TED talk, what would it be about?\u2028<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8220;How successfully creating capable AI for Rocket League&#8217;s bots will bring the singularity and the dawn of artificial general intelligence.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the last thing you watched\/listened to\/read that inspired you, and why?\u2028<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Scout Mindset by Julia Galef.
