Throughout the first season, I remember periodically thinking that the episodes felt a bit crude compared to the highly acclaimed and record-breaking seasons that followed it. By the end of that first season, however, it was apparent that the writers and actors were beginning to find their groove. They were developing a greater understanding of their audience and the world they were creating.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It\u2019s a fitting allegory to segue into the unfolding of our agency&#8217;s brand evolution.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_56874\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56874\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-56874 size-full\" style=\"margin: 40px 0 5px 0;\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.lodestardigital.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/30rock-vendingmaching2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"458\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.lodestardigital.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/30rock-vendingmaching2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/blog.lodestardigital.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/30rock-vendingmaching2-300x172.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.lodestardigital.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/30rock-vendingmaching2-768x440.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-56874\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Like Jack&#8217;s tampering of the vending machine, this image is simply a ruse to get your attention.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>A few\u00a0years ago, we were a different team and a different brand.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ever since the <em>FL\/P Digital <\/em>team converged with Glacier Media&#8217;s in-house digital departments to be reborn as <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/glaciermediadigital.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Glacier Media Digital<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, we were put on a path to rediscover our identity and refine our services. It\u2019s only natural that a brand transformation would\u00a0eventually follow. What better time to unveil a makeover than in the new year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Mind you, our new brand expression is more than just looks. Aesthetics are nothing if there is no connection with meaning. We\u2019re still rooted in the same core values &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lodestardigital.ca\/index.php\/2017\/06\/21\/the-story-behind-our-brand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">read about them here<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0but up until recently, our visual identity system needed development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Much of this development gradually took place over the past\u00a04 months. I could launch into a short essay about how our coloured gradients\u00a0create a soothing visual experience to reflect the peace-of-mind that our services provide to busy clients; or that our graphic patterns represent the visualization of data; but I digress.
